The annual Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge, hosted by the Sacred Heart Soccer Association, has been scheduled for Saturday August 8th with registration starting at 9:00am. This challenge is open to anyone 9-14 years old. Participants are grouped by gender and age groups. The challenge consists of taking 15 shots on goal from the penalty spot. The goal is divided into sections with each section having a point value. Winners of their gender/age group will advance to a regional shootout later in the year.
We are also hosting a 3v3 tournament. The tournament is open to anyone from 9-18 years old. Teams can be co-ed and can have a maximum of 6 players per team roster. Rosters are final at the start of a team’s first game. After the start of the first game no changes to the roster will be permitted. To participate in one or both events download a copy of the registration form, fill in the required information, have a parent sign the form and bring it to the registration table. That’s all there is to it and both of these events are FREE. If you forget to bring a copy of the form we will have copies available at the table. Hope to see you there!!
