After having spent about 20 years in transactional roles (M&A, IPOs and other capital market transactions), having experience in founding corporate finance boutiques as well as having had managerial roles in global corporates, Sascha joined SHS in 2018. Having worked in a biotech company for 10 years, he comes with additional operational experience and the relevant networks in the segment. Amongst other things, Sascha is in charge of fundraising at SHS \u2013 understanding the needs of SHS\u2019s customers and long time partners is very close to his heart and drives his thinking. He is also focusing on the end of the lifecycle of SHS\u2019s investments \u2013 the partnering of SHS\u2019s portfolio companies with strategic or financially driven acquirers. Sascha serves on several MedTech and life science supplier company boards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When it comes to soccer, Sascha is a big supporter of Germany\u2019s best football team \u2013 at least in his perception there is no one who beats Borussia Dortmund with that. Neither his colleagues at SHS nor his neighbors in Munich nor even his son would agree. When it comes to European championships, he is a bit more open minded \u2013 being a son of Croatians who moved to Germany and having a Russian wife with a Swedish passport allows him to favor quite some teams in tournaments.
